A beautiful tawny owl needlepoint embroidery kit made in collaboration with British company Cleopatra's Needle for stitiching a 14'' cushion. Tawny owls are often heard at night where I live, hooting from the tall oak trees, but I've yet to see one myself. The zesty colours and simple shapes in this design portray summer fields and hedgerows, the little hare leaping across as the sun goes down. Finer detail in the owl's feathers add interest to the foreground.
